Terms and Conditions
Bookings will not treated as confirmed until we receive a deposit, the booking will then be confirmed in writing.
All prices are exclusive of VAT, charged at 20%.
Final payment for Wedding Car Hire, will be due 14 days prior to the event.
Your booking may be subject to additional car park and waiting time charges.
This is the amount to be paid for the journey, as agreed between Spirit of Excellence and the customer. The times, route and other details of the journey are stipulated on the booking confirmation. Any variations including extra mileage and time in addition to the agreed at the time of booking will be charged extra to the client which must be paid to the driver on the day.
We request 48 hours notice to modify any of these details. Requests should be made to us by email and we will endeavour to accommodate the customers request.
Your chauffeur will drive at sensible speeds in accordance with traffic, legal speed limits and road conditions. Your safety is paramount to us.
We will travel by the most appropriate route on the day, unless indicated otherwise by the customer at the time of booking.
The Phantom is maintained to a very high standard. In the unlikely event of the vehicle being rendered unavailable due to breakdown or accident damage, we will use our best endeavours to provide a back up vehicle as quickly as possible (the best available vehicle at the time). However we cannot be held liable for any consequential loss incurred as a result of vehicle breakdown or similar unavailability. The company will not accept responsibility for missed flight or rail connections or attendance at functions of the hirer however caused.
You are responsible for and shall indemnify us against any loss or damage caused to the vehicle or any additional costs or expenses we incur due to any act, omission or default of any passenger.
Airport Pick Up
Full flight details must be provided to us, in order to give you a prompt service. We will monitor incoming flights, but often we are unable to access reliable information until shortly before the scheduled arrival time. If your flight is delayed we reserve the right to charge extra waiting time and car park charges if already at the airport.
We can not be held liable if the flight is delayed to such a point it affects another booking and the vehicle you requested is no longer available. We shall do our utmost to provide a vehicle of similar capacity to allow you to continue your journey.
The vehicle is insured for public liability, but this does not cover personal belongings. Therefore we cannot be held responsible for loss of property left in the vehicle at any time or under any circumstances. The chauffeur will check the vehicle at the end of each hire and will hand lost property back to the office, which will be logged. We will do our utmost to return it to its rightful owner.
We always strive to arrive at your collection address in advance of the times agreed, very occasionally events outside of our control could cause us to be delayed (ie Traffic Accidents & Weather Conditions). We cannot accept responsibility for any delays caused by unforeseen circumstances.
Spirit of Excellence operates a strict Non Smoking Policy in its Phantom.
Any fines received whilst the chauffeur is being told to “wait here” or told to drop off in restricted areas will be chargeable to the customer.
Spirit of Excellence and its driver have the right to refuse to carry any passenger whose behaviour poses a threat to the chauffeur, the vehicle or other passengers. This includes the influence of alcohol or drugs.
Cancellation of Booking
In the event of cancellation by the customer any deposit will be forfeited. In the event of such cancellation the following charges will apply and be invoiced
2 months or more notice - deposit only
2 months or less notice - 100% of the total hire
Nothing contained in these terms and conditions can affect the clients statutory rights.
